Mikrotik-Linux is a special version of Mikrotik that contains extra packages for popular linux applications.

Packages

* basic - Busybox, a base system + various scripts
* bind - DNS Server + Configuration examples
* dropbear - SSH Server & Linux shell
* linux-routing - Quagga Routing Suite + OLSR and Batman routing protocols
* network-tools - Various network utilities like whois, tracepath, WoL facility, IP Sentinel
* squid (only for 2.9.x)- Squid Proxy
* hardware watchdog (under testing) - Linux WatchDog
* utilities - Putty, Angry Ip Scanner and Dude inside http://router-ip/utilities.html

Changelog

* All configuration files have been moved to /var/app/etc
* Backup/Restore facility has been added
* Now for every command in Mikrotik CLI there is a mirror in bash. Try linux/[TAB][TAB] in home directory
* Introduction to support Mikrotik 3.x and 4.x
* Universal package for all Mikrotiks, from 2.9.x up to 4.x
* Windows Utilities package

Notices

* linux packages may be extracted from uploaded iso and be installed via ftp as usual
* default dropbear password is 1234
* dropbear accepts connections on tcp port 2222
* any installed package, may be uninstalled as usual
* these all extra packages DO NOT affect any mikrotik files
