This project aims at creating a Mesh(web) layer for WiFi Ad-Hoc networks
Set up the wireless Ad-Hoc network on Windows XP
This slideshow will instruct you how to set up the wireless network on Windows XP.
properties of your wireless adapter
Open the properties of your wireless adapter, select the Wireless Networks tab, make sure Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings is checked and Preferred networks list is empty (use the Remove button to empty the list), then press the Add button.
enter SSID
Enter Daihinia as the network SSID and make sure the rest of the options are set as shown in the picture.
connect when this network is in range
Check the Connection tab and check Connect when this network is in range, then press OK.
we're done with the Ad-Hoc network setup
Seems that we're done. Push OK. |
